Our managers and supervisors focus on the emotional aspect of employee coaching to help build self-esteem. Raising self-esteem raises productivity and engagement. The Five R’s is not a feel-good program. It is linked to positive business outcomes, such as reduced absenteeism, increased safety, and client retention. What does this mean? Employees who enjoy their jobs are more engaged in the tasks they perform.

Innovative Protection Audits

Innovative Protection conducts random and unannounced inspections during the week and weekend to assess the presence, appearance, demeanor, performance, and knowledge of our security officers. Inspections are conducted by all members of management, including sergeants, lieutenants, general managers, and the chief. Reports on all visits are summarized and disclosed to client management. Deficiencies noted are accompanied by a detailed action plan. Key audit categories include:

Security officer’s presence
Security officer’s appearance and demeanor
Uniform (meet/does not meet standards)
Knowledge of the standard operating procedures
Knowledge of emergency procedures
Review of logs and incident reports
Security officer feedback on necessary account/shift improvements
Training exercise (questions are asked and scenarios are presented)
Innovative Protection Customer Feedback

Each month, Innovative Protection representatives meet with designated customer representatives to discuss our company’s performance. These meetings include discussion of the following areas:

New hires
Turnover
Incidents occurred
No matter what, the IPS management team knows the customer comes first. We understand the importance of value, quality customer service, image, and protective services. Our executive management staff has a law enforcement background, which is helpful as our security officers are able to rely on them for their experience, leadership, and training. Most importantly, our management team is held to the maxim of treating others the way in which they would like to be treated.
